24hr Emergency Service
We operate our own emergency service from our own hospital - you will never be asked to travel to another practice for veterinary attention out of hours.
Our Staff
Stuart Russell - BVSc MRCVS
Stuart graduated from Liverpool University in 2007 and worked for a couple of months in the small animal teaching hospital as a temporary anaesthetist of all things! Large animal practice was his ultimate goal and once he’d escaped the small animals he moved to Nantwich Veterinary Group to join the team.
He thoroughly enjoys the intensive dairy work that this area offers, and also enjoys working with farmers to overcome the problems that can be found on these high production dairy herds. Stuart takes every opportunity to work on beef farms, especially to help to improve profits. He has a particular interest in bovine surgery and lameness and hopes to be involved in bringing new surgical techniques to Cheshire in the future to increase longevity and so profitability of the cows.
Outside work he enjoys rugby and hockey although he has retired as a player for now, and he spends a lot of time walking his dog around Cheshire and Shropshire, and hopes to start carpentry and dinghy sailing again in the near future.
