Peter Duncalfe - BVSc MRCVS

Peter qualified from Liverpool University in July 2008 and came to Nantwich in mid-August, eager to get stuck in to the farm animal work.
He has already experienced a steep learning curve, and is keen to continue broadly developing his skills and knowledge.
Outside work Peter love’s spending time with his wife, who is a small animal vet. They are also both involved in a local church. His other love is for the outdoors, particularly rock-climbing – which landed him with two broken heels a month after starting work! Although a minor set-back in terms of clinical work it gave him an opportunity to get to grips with farm data analysis using Interherd with NMR and CIS records.
Preventative medicine and management is a key area for vet input on farms, and use of these recording systems is an excellent means of identifying specific problem areas.
