24hr Emergency Service
We operate our own emergency service from our own hospital - you will never be asked to travel to another practice for veterinary attention out of hours.
Our Staff
Laura Pennington - BVSc MRCVS
Laura qualified from Bristol Vet School in July 2009 and joined the practice shortly after. Having grown up on a dairy farm in Bostock near Middlewich she was keen to specialise in farm animals immediately. The farm now focuses on contract rearing heifers and keeping dry cows. There is also a busy livery yard and a pair of donkeys.
With regard to clinical work she particularly enjoys emergency calls and cattle surgery.
During her time at university she climbed Mount Kenya, took part in a turtle conservation project near Mombassa and worked on a game reserve in South Africa.
In her spare time she enjoys walking the dogs, playing badminton and skiing.
