We operate our own emergency service from our own hospital - you will never be asked to travel to another practice for veterinary attention out of hours.

David Hesketh - BVSc MRCVS
David Qualified from Liverpool in the summer of 2009. Deferring for a year between final years to travel back home to the family dairy farm up in Lancashire to improve farm efficiency along with farmer welfare, completing the picture from textbook learning to grass roots implementation.
Dave’s main enthusiasm is for KISS (keep it simple stupid) management based improvements to herd health and efficiency, keeping a few basic principals for every system is key. Keen to get involved and learn more about high performance dairy systems.
Loves to ramble whenever he gets chance whether local or afar, having ticked off Africa in 2nd year and Thailand straight after qualifying the travel bug is well and truly caught but as an avid dairy man, the chance of 100% farm animal practice in a predominantly dairy area is too good to turn down.
