We operate our own emergency service from our own hospital - you will never be asked to travel to another practice for veterinary attention out of hours.

Dave Shaw - MVB MRCVS
David qualified from Dublin Veterinary College in the summer of 1995, started working in Nantwich less than two weeks later and has been here ever since.
He used to see the occasional small animal and horse during the first couple of years, but now he only deals with farm animals. A large proportion of his time is involved with routine fertility of cows and their concurrent problems.
Herd health plans are becoming more common and the creation of these allows him to better understand what is occurring on a daily basis on farms, and subsequently tackle any underlying issues. He also finds mastitis and cell count problems challenging, yet rewarding.
Outside of work he plays a bit of football and watches the occasional rugby match, but most of his time is taken up by his family.
