In January 2008 we opened a fabulous, purpose built, air-conditioned veterinary surgery in Market Drayton.

Previously on Maer Lane, we are now in our new surgery situated just off the Gingerbread Man pub roundabout in Market Drayton. We have an x-ray machine, ultrasound scanner and laboratory equipment for blood and urine tests and we can often give you results while you wait. Our fully equipped operating theatre provides a sterile area for operations.

Becky Green

The Market Drayton veterinary surgery is managed and nursed by Becky Green. Becky first joined Nantwich veterinary group in 2002 when she worked at the small animal hospital in Nantwich. She left to complete a degree in criminal justice and returned in 2008 to assist with the setting up of the new Market Drayton surgery.  Becky is a qualified veterinary nurse and she is currently studying for the Certificate in Veterinary Practice Management.

We have four part time receptionists who work at the Market Drayton surgery. They are:

Margaret Swain

‘Marg’ has worked for Nantwich veterinary group for 16 years. She has four dogs who’s names are Boris, Barney, Jake and Molly, one cat, Wilf and a number of rare breed chickens.

Sharon Swetman

Sharon joined the practice 11 years ago.  Sharon has numerous pets that she has rescued. They include Genie and Izzy who are ex racing greyhounds, Barney and Rosie who are Jack Russell terriers and Jessie and Arnie, the cats.

Tracey Petrie

Tracey joined Nantwich veterinary group in 2005. Her dogs, Hoover and Pip keep her busy when she is not working or looking after her two sons and husband. Tracey also fosters puppies from the Guide Dogs for the Blind to assist with their training and walking.

Jeanette Hares

Jeanette originally worked for the practice in the 1970’s but she recently rejoined the practice in 2007. She is part of a local farming family who have 250 milking cows as well as 4 pet Berkshire pigs, chickens, a cat and three dogs.
