We operate our own emergency service from our own hospital - you will never be asked to travel to another practice for veterinary attention out of hours.

Mike Guilliard - MA VetMB CertSAO MRCVS
Mike Guilliard qualified from Cambridge University Veterinary School in 1972. He retired from the position as Senior Partner in 2003 and took up a consultancy position within the hospital.He obtained the Certificate of Small Animal Orthopaedics in 1995 and has published twelve scientific papers on canine sports injuries in peer-reviewed veterinary journals. He was awarded the Dunkin Prize in both 1998 and 2001 by the British Small Animal Veterinary Association, given to the author of the best paper published in the Journal of Small Animal Practice written by a general practitioner.
He is also a committee member of the British Veterinary Orthopaedic Association. Current clinical research projects include the treatments of racing injuries in Greyhounds and the development of a non-manual method of positioning for the PennHIP hip dyslasia scheme.
