24hr Emergency Service
We operate our own emergency service from our own hospital - you will never be asked to travel to another practice for veterinary attention out of hours.
Our Staff
Our Small Animal Veterinary Team not only offer routine services such as neutering and vaccinations but also specialise in a range of fields. Our Veterinary Surgeons have Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificates or Diplomas in Small Animal Surgery, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Dermatology and Small Animal Medicine.
Laura Webb - DipAVN(Small Animal) RVN
Laura worked for the Practice as a Saturday girl from 1998 whilst studying for GCSEs and A Levels. She commenced full time employment in 2001 as a student Veterinary Nurse and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2003. Laura has been actively involved with student nurse training and she completed her A1 Assessor’s qualification in 2005. Laura also has a keen interest in dentistry and was awarded the BVNA Veterinary Nurse Certificate in Dentistry in 2006. She was promoted to Deputy Head Nurse in 2008. Striving to advance in her Veterinary Nursing career Laura embarked with Emma on the Diploma of Higher Education in Clinical Veterinary Nursing in 2007 which she gained in 2009. This then allowed entry to complete the RCVS Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (Small Animal) which she gained in 2010. Laura is an in-house Clinical Coach for the Student Nurses.
Laura’s main interest is surgical nursing and surgically assisting with soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery including as a scrub nurse for hip replacement surgery.
Laura enjoys spending time with her pets, Jess and Gary and she enjoys vegetarian cooking and reading.
