We operate our own emergency service from our own hospital - you will never be asked to travel to another practice for veterinary attention out of hours.
Our Staff
Our Small Animal Veterinary Team not only offer routine services such as neutering and vaccinations but also specialise in a range of fields. Our Veterinary Surgeons have Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificates or Diplomas in Small Animal Surgery, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Dermatology and Small Animal Medicine.
Lara Dempsey - BVetMed GP Cert (SAM) GP Cert (SAS) MRCVS
Lara graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2000. Since qualifying, she worked for three years in mixed practice before embarking on her small animal career.Lara joined us in October 2006 after working in a busy London veterinary hospital. Lara achieved the general practitioner certificate in small animal surgery in 2005 and the general practitioner certificate in small animal medicine in 2007.
She is currently studying for the Royal College certificate in soft tissue surgery. Lara’s interests are soft tissue surgery and endoscopy and she receives referrals in these disciplines.
Outside of work Lara enjoys walking the dogs, hiking, cycling and skiing.
