24hr Emergency Service
We operate our own emergency service from our own hospital - you will never be asked to travel to another practice for veterinary attention out of hours.
Our Staff
Our Small Animal Veterinary Team not only offer routine services such as neutering and vaccinations but also specialise in a range of fields. Our Veterinary Surgeons have Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificates or Diplomas in Small Animal Surgery, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Dermatology and Small Animal Medicine.
Jo Richardson - RVN
Jo joined the practice in 2005 after completing her GCSEs. She completed an animal care course during her first year at the practice, going on to qualify as a veterinary nurse in January 2009. Jo’s main professional interest lies within ophthalmic nursing and she routinely assists our in house ophthalmic surgeon. She is responsible for preparing for all ophthalmic procedures, taking care of the equipment and ordering stock. Jo also takes an interest in exotic animals and has a pet bearded dragon called Lola, as well as two cats which she hand reared from 10 days old.
In her spare time Jo enjoys spending time with family and friends and going to music festivals.
