We operate our own emergency service from our own hospital - you will never be asked to travel to another practice for veterinary attention out of hours.
Our Staff
Our Small Animal Veterinary Team not only offer routine services such as neutering and vaccinations but also specialise in a range of fields. Our Veterinary Surgeons have Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificates or Diplomas in Small Animal Surgery, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Dermatology and Small Animal Medicine.
Heather Metcalfe - RVN
Heather joined us in 2003 and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2005. In 2007 she gained her BVNA Veterinary Nurse Certificate in Dentistry. She is interested in all aspects of small animal nursing, taking a keen interest in orthopaedics. Heather is responsible for our surgical instruments and theatre consumables; she also assists the Veterinary Surgeons with the Total Hip Replacement operations.
In her spare time Heather enjoys camping, walking, reading and spending time with family and friends, she has a rescue cat at home called Mavis.
