24hr Emergency Service
We operate our own emergency service from our own hospital - you will never be asked to travel to another practice for veterinary attention out of hours.
Our Staff
Our Small Animal Veterinary Team not only offer routine services such as neutering and vaccinations but also specialise in a range of fields. Our Veterinary Surgeons have Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificates or Diplomas in Small Animal Surgery, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Dermatology and Small Animal Medicine.
Faye MacDonald - BSc (hons) RVN
Faye joined the practice in October 2004 as a Student Veterinary Nurse after completing a degree in Zoology at Liverpool John Moores university. Faye qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in summer 2009. She has a keen interest in assisting with Cardiology cases alongside Mandy Howes. Faye also often assists as a scrub nurse with surgical procedures. She also has a keen interest in in-house laboratory testing. Faye has recently returned from travelling where she spent several months in Australia working as a Veterinary Nurse in different parts of the country. She also visited New Zealand, South Africa, Malawi and Zambia. Faye is looking to forward her career by undertaking the Diploma of HIgher Education in Clinical Veterinary Nursing.
In her spare time Faye regulary plays Netball and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has a two Jack Russels called Penny and Harry.
