We operate our own emergency service from our own hospital - you will never be asked to travel to another practice for veterinary attention out of hours.
Our Staff
Our Small Animal Veterinary Team not only offer routine services such as neutering and vaccinations but also specialise in a range of fields. Our Veterinary Surgeons have Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificates or Diplomas in Small Animal Surgery, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Dermatology and Small Animal Medicine.
Alan Mayo - BVSc CertSAS MRCVS
Alan qualified from Liverpool University Veterinary School in 1993 and has spent most of his professional life with the practice.He obtained the Certificate of Small Animal Surgery in 1997 and is one of the main surgeons of the hospital. He accepts referrals in both soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery and his interests include fracture repair, spinal surgery and TPLO for the treatment of cranial cruciate ligament failure and stifle arthritis. He was the joint recipient of the Dunkin Award in 2001.
